How To Get Up And Running With WordPress
First of all it’s important to understand there are two versions of WordPress, and only one is really useful for building an online business.
The first is hosted for you on WordPress.com and is NOT recommended for building your own business as you do not own the site.
and example of this kind of site would be https://examplepage.wordpress.com
The second type is the one we’re interested in, where you install the WordPress software on to your own hosting.
You will need your own domain name, and a webhost.
If you haven’t got a domain name yet we recommend using NameCheap
And for hosting we recommend 5CloudHost who offer a 5 year package where you’ll pay less per year then most hosts charge per month, AND you get top quality, super fast cloud hosting [yes, we use these guys ourselves].
Once you have your domain and hosting setup you simply login to your hosting, scroll down the page to find the big WP icon, click on that and follow the simple step by step instructions (I’ve included a video on this on the videos page, see below). It really is quick & easy.
Then you’re going to need to make a few tweaks to get WordPress setup the best way possible for security & SEO.
I’ve created a couple of videos covering exactly what you need to do, you can watch them on the videos page Link in the site Header above.

Free FTP Software
Free Audio recording tool
Free Screen/Video Recorder

I’ll be adding more soon…

Matt, this is just the type of information a lot of newbies who don’t have big budgets can really use, great job.
I have another html editor that I’ve used before, it can be downloaded free here:
http://kompozer.net/ I have always found this easy to use and I’m not technical at all! 😳 :
