Hi Kumar,
yup, I host most of my videos on the Revver.com video hosting service.
Once I've created the videos with Camtasia I then upload them to Revver for a number of reasons: -
1. hosting the video on revver saves me on bandwidth, and therefore saves me money
2. using the "Embed video" code makes it very easy to add the videos to any of my blogs, and allows other people to use the videos on their sites as well if they wish, which can bring in extra visitors
3. the videos on revver can end up ranking highly in the search engines for the video keywords and therefore bringing in even more free targeted traffic to the site.
cheers,
Matt

The BlogTactics themes have some special features built in to make life easier, such as the ability to browse to an image on yoru hard disk and have it automatically crop to the right size (you choose which section of the image) to use as the header graphic, making it very quick and easy to add a custom header graphic.
There's also built in banner management...
cheers,
Matt

Hi Viv,
grab the "All in one SEO" plugin for adding extra SEO optimization to your blog, there's a link for it on the plugins page, and don't forget to watch the video on optimizing your premalinks structure.
there's also a link to the AdSenseDeluxe plugin on the plugins page that I recommend for adding adsense to your blog, as well as 3 0r 4 videos on using it on the videos page.
cheers,
Matt

Hi Matt

Hope you had a truly great festive break and my every good wish to you for a successful, safe and happy 2009.

Matt I downloaded your Blue Simple Theme (again thank you for this), but I have a 'newbie question' that I wonder if you would mind answering. I am constantly hearing that themes should be 'SEO optimised' and that they should include some Adsense adds to monetize. How do you SEO Optimise (do you have a video or a course on this) and the same for the Adsense - I have been recommend to use a plugin called Adsenseanna, do you recommend this for your theme?

Many thanks

I see that this video has revver at the bottom. You had indicated that you create videos using Camtasia. Why do you not use their hosting for the video? Is revver a video hosting service?

Hi Bill,
I didn't install mine myself, I paid the extra $50 for one of Edna's support team to do it for me, simply to save the time.
cheers,
Matt

Hi Simon,
the easiest way is to use the AdSense Deluxe plugin, there's a video about it somewhere on the videos page.
the alternative is to edit the post page format in your theme and add your adsense code in to that so it always appears, but then you can potentially end up displaying too many adsense blocks on the index page, which is against their TOS I believe, so I'd recommend using AdSense Deluxe, it is a free plugin.
:)
cheers,
Matt
