Top 30 RSS Directories

Top 30 RSS Directories To Submit Your Blog To</h1>

This post is about submitting your RSS feed to RSS Directories to get traffic to your blog or website.

[The post is also part 4 of the Simple Blog Traffic Action Plan, links to the previous 3 parts are listed at the bottom of this post.]

I’m not going to get bogged down in trying to explain exactly what RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is and how it works…

What you need to know is that it is another way in which your blog (or website) content can be delivered to people interested in reading it, either directly to their desktop “RSS reader” or online, without them having to visit your blog itself, although they will often end up doing so providing they are interested in your content.

Simply put, the more ways you give people of finding and reading your content, the more people you are going to be able to reach, and RSS is one more easy & effective way of doing exactly this.

Submitting Articles For Traffic

This is another “old school” and “un-sexy” method that gets overlooked by most people now for getting traffic to new websites.

One of the most important things to remember when getting new backlinks to a fresh new website to help get it to rank well in the search engine results is to use a VARIETY of backlink building tactics so that the links are not all coming from one source or type of source. Mixing in some blog directory links is an easy way of ensuring this, but you will also discover you actually get visitors from some of these blog directories, as well as the valuable backlinks.

The directories below are specifically fro Blogs, if your site is not a blog then the best way to approach directory submissions is to pick up a simple [and cheap] piece of software that will automate the whole process for you, I’ve recommend taking a look at the one here: –

Submitting Articles For Traffic

Getting Website Traffic

Using Article submission to get fresh traffic to a web site is often ignored by new website owners, either because it’s just not “sexy” and takes some actual “work”, or because it seems so “old school” it’s positively old fashioned and therefore can’t possibly still work, right..?

Don’t pay attention to the “doomsayers” saying article marketing doesn’t work anymore, you’ll usually find that they’re trying to sell you on something else…. 🙂

It not only still works, but if you do it right and be consistent, it works VERY well!

In fact there are plenty of marketers who use Article Marketing as the mainstay of their online business!

Submitting articles actually gives you multiple benefits: –

1. you get the backlinks from the articles to your website or blog which will increase it’s rankings in the search engines and bring more free organic search traffic

2. you get visitors from the article itself

That’s less than $0.12 per confirmed subscriber!

I’ve had a look at this particular tactic and it really is simple to put in place, it’s one that I’m going to be using a LOT myself… 🙂

Get More Website Traffic

How To Get More Website Traffic

It’s a question every website owner has asked at some point…

Let’s face it, without enough visitors, your website, no matter how professional it looks, will not make any money!

You need traffic, especially targeted traffic.

Learning how to get that traffic can be a massive ordeal, partly because there are so many different potential methods that you can use, from Pay Per Click (PPC) to free “organic” search traffic from search engine optimization (SEO).

Then there’s all the other traffic generation tactics, like article marketing, ppv, cpa, social media optimization (SMO) and social bookmarking, diretcory submissions, blogging, blog commenting, getting trackbacks, RSS submission, video submission, getting backlinks, press releases, yahoo answers, etc. etc. etc.

This list goes on and on, you could easily spend months, if not years, experimenting with all of these different methods, trying to find the one’s that really work, and how to make them work effectively for your site.

Some of us have… 😉

Twitter Automation

Last summer I noticed that a few of my niche sites where I had set up a corresponding Twitter account were starting to get more traffic from those Twitter accounts, so I figured it was time to take a more serious look at how I could capitalize on Twitter for driving even more taregted free visitors to my sites.

I spent a few weeks expanding my knowledge of exactly how Twitter works and after a lot of playing around came up with a method for building pretty big lists of targeted followers very quickly. It was one of those kind of “I can’t believe I didn’t think of that sooner” moments…

I used the tactic on a couple of accounts and ended up having to increase the bandwidth allocation on my servers for those sites because of the extra traffic that Twitter was bringing them.

At some point I was chatting on skype with my friend Tahir Shah and mentioned what I’d been doing and that I wanted to automate the whole process to make it hands free.

One Way Linking Works

Back in December I posted about a new one way linking system that I was testing out, you can watch the video here: –
One Way Links Video

well I remembered to go take a look at the web stats for my test sites a week or so ago and I’m pleased with the results, you can see for yourself in the video below…

With a 3-400% increase in just 3+ months you can see how effective this system is, especially as it only took a few minutes to put in to place for each site, as you can see in the video.

It’s also worth making it clear that these are new test blog that have had no other promotion done for them, so the increase in visitors is down to this one way linking tool!

I guess you can see why I will be spending some time over the next week or so putting a lot more of my blogs in to this system, I recommend you do the same!

you can grab the one way backlinks system here: –

I made short video a little while back showing how to get fr.e.e traffic to blogs and websites with Blog Carnival Submission, if you’ve not seen it yet then you can watch it here –

Note: it’s only 5 mins long and is pure content.

This is one of the simplest traffic tricks you can use, it only takes a few minutes to do for each blog and is fr.e.e, which is always cool.

It’s also very effective, I’ve used this tactic on many of my blogs, including my most popular ones!

If you’d like to make the whole process even quicker and easier then here’s is a cheap software tool that you can use top help speed up the process even more: –

Note: you don’t have to use this tool to do carnival submissions, you can do them for fr.e.e by hand, but this tool will make the whole process quicker and easier to do, which for just $27 is pretty cool, but it’s up to you….
